Counseling Services
In an effort to help students understand their rights and obligations, accept themselves and others, and grow through healthy relationships, the Center for Human Rights and Counseling(CHRC) provides the following counseling services.
Academic Counseling
When there are changes to students’ academic records, academic counseling is conducted by CHRC to improve their capacity to adapt and to help them adjust smoothly to campus life.

The reasons for changes to academic records indicated by students are shared with related parties to help UST develop further and to improve academic support services.
General Counseling
- General counseling is offered to deal various problems and difficulties faced by students, all UST staffs as well as to help newly admitted foreign students improve their capacity to adapt quickly.
- Client : All UST members(current students, course completion students, students on leave of absence, faculty and staff)
- Counseling Methods : Telephone (042-865-3831), Face-to-face, Online
- Frequency : No limits(Free of Charge)
- Counseling conducted by counselors at the UST main campus
- Duration : 50 minutes per session (30 minutes for phone counseling)

Selects and applies for desired counseling time and method

In accordance with the principle of confidentiality, any and all content shared during counseling sessions will not be disclosed, copied, or viewed by a third party without the client's consent.
Counselor-linked Platform Counseling
Platform Counseling in Collaboration with a Counseling Center Near the School
- Face-to-face, phone, and video counseling are available.
